Global Platinum + Gold, Inc. Announces Groundbreaking for New Plant Facilities

Scott Gardner, President of Global is pleased to report that a groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 1, 2006 that marks the beginning of the construction phase for Global’s new precious metals processing plant located approximately 12 miles south of Coolidge AZ in the township of Eloy. A mining exemption that allows the construction to proceed has been filed and recorded with Pinal County.
A prefabricated metal building has been ordered and should be delivered to the construction site in approximately 7 to 9 weeks. The concrete contractor is presently preparing the site to lay a 100’ x 100’ concrete slab in anticipation of the building.
In the meantime, Global has renovated and enlarged its temporary lab facilities to accommodate commercial-size test runs that will provide useful information in final design of the production area of the new plant.
Global has also assembled and retained a team of professionals including an architect, land use attorneys, environmental, process, and design engineers, and a building contractor. This team of professionals is excited and anxious to bring this project to the production phase as quickly as possible.
